Robo movie review: Endhiran Tamil movie reviews put Aishwarya on the margins as Rajnikanth is the only one being talked about.

This is a reality, though onscreen and people are loving it like nothing else. Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai starrer Robot or Endhiran is going very strong at the box office and film pundits are of the opinion that this film may set a new record in high film grossing.
It is the third day of the launch and you can see the long queues of film buff standing outside the theaters in search of the elusive tickets.

But sadly the tickets are not available and people have to return empty handed. But if you are lucky and you find someone selling the ticket, you may have to shell out extremely high price for it.

Meanwhile rajini’s acting is coming in for praise from all sides. All newspapers and news portals’ reviewers are showering praise on the great actor that Rajni is and their praise sometimes look closer to admiration for the best Indian actor.

If there was any scientific and futuristic film, it is Enthiran and nothing else.

An Independent review showers praise on the super star and the film and says, “Even by the usually brash standards of popular Indian cinema, Rajinikanth is no ordinary star. A balding former Bangalore bus conductor who makes no effort to hide his paunch, the actor has a connection with fans that his rivals can only wish to match. He famously makes little effort at realism in his films”.

Synopsis
Endhiran, Rajni plays dual roles. One is a scientist and the other is a Robot. Scientist Rajni creates a Robot with artificial intelligence – like that of sixth sense in humans – to help human beings and to the development of the country. But its silicon heart falls in love with Aishwarya Rai. Writes romantic poems and the Robot behave just like a human being. Knowing about the extra ordinary intelligence of the Robot the villains try to get control of the Robot.Scientist Rajni fights to save the Robot falling into the hand of the enemies and destroys the evil forces using the Robot itself.

 Review & box office Update

The below is an interesting calculation by a Canada based FM radio on Robot (Endhiran) Box office prediction. I guess, If we put realistic numbers for the Tamil & Telugu 1700 prints as the first week booking is going to be full, then calculation will be,,,, OMG,,,, it will be a never broken record….over Rs. 500 crore in a week?????

Robot - Endhiran box office update. Have you ever seen cine fans queuing up at 3am in the morning to catch the first day-first show of any superstar’s film? Have you ever seen the posters and billboards of any superstar being bathed with milk and then an aarti performed. Such is the Rajinikanth mania that’s gripped the mega star’s fans in Chennai.

Guess what? His latest film Endhiran The Robot was screened at 4 am on Friday morning at Rakki Cinemas. And that show ran to a packed house. The demand for the tickets has been so huge that multiplexes and single screen theatres across Chennai have added early morning shows to their schedules.

The tickets for the whole week have been sold out in advance at many theatres and even in Mumbai several shows are going house full. On top of all this Rajini hysteria, the rave reviews given by critics and the positive word of mouth will ensure more footfalls in the coming weeks and probably months.

According to trade analysts, the film is set to break all box office records by any Indian film. It is learnt to have been made at a whopping budget of Rs. 160 crores. Trade pundits believe that it will easily recover that cost and even make huge profits.

The fans who saw the film on Friday say it is the ‘best Rajinikanth film ever’. We learn that the fans were on their feet in the theatres during last half hour of the film. There were non-stop screams, claps, shouts and whistles as what is being described as the ‘mother of all climaxes’ unspooled on the screen.

South India has clearly been hit by a storm called Rajinikanth.
